Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design with Snapdragon 8 Elite series processor launched

Introducing the Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design, the latest flagship smartphone from Honor, a third entrant in their Magic 7 series. This powerhouse of a device is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Edition chipset, ensuring seamless performance. The phone also boasts a massive 5,850mAh battery with support for both wired and wireless charging.

The design of the Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design is a testament to the iconic Porsche brand, with accents reminiscent of their legendary cars. The phone features a triple rear camera system, consisting of a 200-megapixel telephoto shooter, perfect for capturing life’s precious moments. The device also boasts IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring it’s resistant to dust and water.

The Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design is available in two storage variants, with a 16GB RAM and 512GB storage combination priced at approximately Rs. 93,000, and a 24GB RAM and 1TB storage combination priced at around Rs. 1,05,000. The device is available in two colors – Agate Gray and Provence Purple.

The phone runs on Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0, featuring a 6.8-inch full-HD+ (1,280 x 2,800 pixels) LTPO OLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 453ppi pixel density, and 1,600 nits of global peak brightness, capable of delivering 5,000 nits HDR peak brightness.

The Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design also boasts a robust set of specifications, including a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Edition chipset, up to 24GB of RAM, and a massive 1TB of storage. Additionally, the device features a unique design inspired by classic Porsche elements, a hexagonal structure, and a special Glory King Kong Giant Rhino Glass coating, which is 10 times scratch-resistant and 10 times drop-resistant compared to ordinary glass with the same weight carrier.

The camera system is also impressive, with a triple rear camera unit, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor with variable aperture and support for OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with support for up to 100x digital zoom and 3x optical zoom. The rear camera unit also features a 1200-point LiDAR array focusing system for enhanced focus speed.

Other notable features include a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera and 3D depth camera on the front, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS/AGPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The device also features various sensors, including an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, infrared remote control, gyroscope, gravity sensor, hall sensor, color temperature sensor, and proximity sensor. Moreover, it boasts 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and 3D face unlocking features.

The Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design also offers two-way Beidou satellite text messaging, allowing users to communicate with the outside world even without a ground network signal, although this feature is likely limited to the Chinese market.

The phone packs a large 5,850mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging, 80W wireless fast charging, and wireless reverse charging. Additionally, it features an in-house EC chip for enhanced battery life and an Honor communication chip (C chip) for a faster internet experience on public-speed-limited Wi-Fi networks.
