Here is a rewritten version of the title: “All Thyrocare Labs Are Now Accredited by NABL”

Thyrocare has made history by becoming the first national diagnostic chain in India to secure 100% NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) accreditation across all 29 of its laboratories. This remarkable achievement demonstrates the company’s unwavering commitment to ensuring quality and reliability in diagnostics.

To celebrate this milestone, NABL dignitaries visited Thyrocare’s national reference laboratory in Navi Mumbai and were impressed by the lab’s infrastructure, modern analyzers, diverse test menu, and state-of-the-art technologies.

Pankaj Johri, Director at NABL, lauded Thyrocare for this extraordinary accomplishment, congratulating the company’s leadership team, led by MD & CEO Rahul Guha and Vice President of Operations and Quality, Dr. Preet Kaur.

“This is an incredible feat, achieved in just two years, from 2022 to 2024. Thyrocare has received NABL accreditation for 25 of its labs, making it the first national diagnostic chain to achieve 100% accreditation across India,” Johri remarked. “Handling 70,000 samples per day and impacting millions of lives daily, Thyrocare is a remarkable example of patient welfare on a massive scale. The NABL accreditation is essential to ensure gold-standard quality and accuracy.”

Johri emphasized that the accreditation process was particularly stringent, involving a full NABL accreditation, which is more challenging to achieve than the entry-level NABL certification. Among the NABL dignitaries who attended the celebration were Haribabu A – Deputy Director – NABL, Syed Tahira Rizvi – Assistant Director – NABL, and Mandeep Dalal – Executive Officer – NABL. N. Venkateswaran, CEO – NABL, also extended his congratulations to Thyrocare, expressing confidence in the company’s quality initiatives.

Chakravarthy T. Kannan, Secretary General, Quality Council of India (QCI), acknowledged the milestone, highlighting the importance of quality infrastructure in achieving India’s vision for 2047, which aims to make the country one of the top three nations globally. “Thyrocare’s achievement is an inspiration to all diagnostic labs across India,” Kannan noted. “I would like to congratulate Rahul Guha and his team for their commitment to quality excellence and dedication.”

Thyrocare’s quality transformation is anchored in a comprehensive 12-point roadmap, which covers key stages of the sample journey, including stringent quality checks during sample collection, maintaining the cold chain, and ensuring precision in sample processing. The company’s commitment to quality is evident in its reporting processes, which are verified by expert MD pathologists stationed at every lab, providing accurate and reliable services trusted by 9 out of 10 doctors, as per a third-party survey published in the IJARIIT National Journal.

“Reaching this milestone reflects our mission to provide affordable, high-quality diagnostics nationwide,” said Rahul Guha. “Our vision was to achieve 100% NABL accreditation for all 29 labs, and over the past two years, we have worked diligently to ensure that our labs meet the rigorous NABL standards.”

Dr. Preet Kaur emphasized the company’s strong network of laboratories, strategically located to minimize sample travel time, reduce preanalytical delays, and ensure faster reporting. Thyrocare has invested heavily in revamping the entire analyzer base across all labs, equipping them with cutting-edge technology.

During the celebration, Thyrocare’s leadership team, including Alok Jagnani, CFO, Nitin Chugh, CCO, and Savita Sharma, CHRO, acknowledged the collaborative efforts of various departments, from laboratory operations to training and administration, that made this achievement possible.
