OnePlus has just launched a new tablet in China, and it’s clear that they’ve taken inspiration from the Oppo Pad 3. The new OnePlus Pad tablet boasts an 11-inch display and is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 SoC, paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM.
The tablet’s display is a highlight, with a 2.8K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The battery life is also impressive, with a 9,520mAh capacity that’s expected to provide long-lasting performance. To keep the tablet charged, OnePlus has included 67W fast-charging capabilities.
The OnePlus Pad is essentially a rebranded Oppo Pad 3, which was the first tablet to feature the new Dimensity chip. This isn’t entirely surprising, given that OnePlus and Oppo are sister companies and often share technology and resources.
The tablet is priced at around CNY 1,999 in China, which translates to around $274. While it’s unclear if the device will be available globally, it’s likely that we’ll see more information about it when OnePlus debuts its new OnePlus 13 series on January 7.
It’s worth noting that the OnePlus Pad is a budget device, and its features and specs reflect that. However, it’s still an interesting development in the world of tablets, and we’ll be keeping an eye on it to see if it makes its way to international markets.
