The wait for the Redmi Turbo 4 is almost over, as it’s expected to make its official debut early next year with the latest MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra SoC. Following the announcement of the new Turbo series phone in China, a listing on Geekbench has given us a glimpse into its key specifications. With the Redmi Turbo 4 likely to be a successor to the Redmi Turbo 3, let’s dive into what this new phone has in store.

Unannounced Redmi Handset Spotted on Geekbench

A prototype of the unannounced Redmi model 24129RT7CC, which is reportedly the Redmi Turbo 4, has been spotted on the Geekbench database. The device boasts a single-core score of 1,649 and a multi-core score of 6,342, together with 14.96 GB of RAM – potentially equivalent to 16 GB on paper. The listing also hints at Android 15 as the operating system.

Further analysis reveals that the phone is powered by an octa-core processor with a mothercoded ‘rodin’, featuring a 4+3+1 architecture. The configuration suggests the presence of the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra SoC, with a prime CPU core running at 3.25GHz, three cores capped at 3.00GHz, and four cores at 2.10GHz.

As previously announced, Redmi is set to unveil the Turbo 4 early next year as the first phone to come with the newly launched MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra SoC. The Redmi Turbo 3, launched in China in April this year, is yet to be released outside the country, but its international variant, the Poco F6, is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It’s likely that the Redmi Turbo 4 will be available globally as the Poco X7 Pro.
