Samsung Workers Fired Over Leak of Galaxy S25 Ultra Images

As the January 2025 launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 flagship lineup approaches, the anticipation is building, and with it, the chance for leaks and rumors to permeate the tech world. This year, things got a little more serious, as Samsung took swift action against several employees after a tipster, @Jukanlosreve, allegedly leaked images of the upcoming flagship.

The images, posted on a popular online platform, suggested that the Galaxy S25+ model would be on display, and the rumor mill started churning out guesses about the release date. According to a recent report, @Jukanlosreve’s post brought trouble to Samsung employees, who were caught revealing information about the unannounced device. It’s worth noting that @Jukanlosreve’s handle is not verified.

In most cases, photos of unannounced handsets typically include tape covering specific parts, such as numbers or characters, to prevent the device’s identity from being linked to the person who leaked it. However, the images shared by @Jukanlosreve didn’t have that level of protection, and Samsung allegedly used the identification number to identify the employees responsible for the leak.

Before Evan Blass, a reputable leaker with a spotty track record, shared his own set of leaked images, which hinted at four different models, including the highly anticipated Galaxy S25 Slim.

As we wait for Samsung to officially unveil the date of the next Galaxy Unpacked event, where the company will showcase the Galaxy S25 series of smartphones and accessories, it’s anyone’s guess what other surprises are in store for us.
